GBRI ESG Workshop : New York City

Integrating ESG, Occupant Wellness, and Safety in Building Practices
Embark on an impactful journey with GBRI’s 1-day interactive ESG Workshop in the vibrant city of New York.
Climate Change Action Workshop - New York City
Climate change and sustainability are critical global challenges that require collective action and informed decision-making. GBRI is proud to present a series of immersive workshops designed to deepen your understanding, inspire meaningful engagement, and equip you with the knowledge and skills to drive positive change. Our first workshop, the Climate Change Action Workshop, draws inspiration from GBRI’s acclaimed “Climate Change Ambassador Program.” Building on the momentum of the Climate Change Action Workshop, our second workshop, the ESG Workshop, focuses on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations in sustainable practices.

What is the ESG Workshop about?

GBRI’s 1-day interactive ESG Workshop is designed for students and professionals ready to deepen their understanding of ESG. This hands-on workshop builds upon the knowledge gained in our Climate Change workshop and equips participants with the knowledge and skills to integrate ESG principles, occupant wellness strategies, safety practices, and green building standards into their projects. By attending both workshops, participants will gain a holistic understanding of how ESG principles intersect with climate change, occupant well-being, safety, and green buildings in the built environment.

Throughout this training, participants will delve deeper into ESG frameworks and standards, explore critical aspects of health and safety, and learn how to implement robust safety practices while integrating green building principles aligned with LEED. The program emphasizes the importance of creating sustainable, healthy, safe, and environmentally responsible building environments that prioritize the well-being of occupants while aligning with ESG and green building objectives.

By attending both the Climate Change Workshop and the ESG Workshop, participants will benefit from a comprehensive learning experience that bridges the gap between climate action and sustainable building practices. Gain the knowledge and skills needed to become a certified ESG professional, equipped to navigate the intersections of sustainability, occupant well-being, safety, and green buildings in the built environment.”

Date – Aug 18th 2023 | Midtown Manhattan, NY | 8 Hours with a 45 minute break for lunch.
