One of the 21 AIA knowledge communities, The Committee on the Environment or (COTE) serves as the community and voice on behalf of AIA regarding sustainable design and building science, and performance. The Committee on the Environment or (COTE) serves as the community and voice on behalf of AIA architects regarding sustainable design and building science and performance. This course looks closely at the measures of sustainable design as outlined by the committee for the 2016 award. In addition, we will also look at a green building project that won the AIAโs TOP 10+ award.
What you will learn

- Identify the AIA COTE Measures of Sustainable Design
- Analyze each measure of sustainable design
- Recognize how the COTE criteria are utilized to evaluate green building projects
